What do volunteers do?

They make the dance run! They help set up, check people in for the class/dance at the front desk, and clean up after the dance. They are responsible for checking in with the volunteer coordinator for training and/or instructions.


  • Front Desk: check-in students, check-in guests to dance, check vaccination status, monitor traffic
  • Setup: set up sound equipment and lights, set up DJ table, set up table and chairs in the hallway, set up bathroom signs, open hallway and kitchen windows
  • Cleanup: pack up sound equipment and lights, pack up tables and chairs, pack up front desk, pack up bathroom signs, close hallway and kitchen windows


If you volunteer for half an hour, you get into the dance for free
If you volunteer for an hour, you can take a class and get into the dance for free.

Our volunteer coordinator will send an email weekly using this email list to ask about availability. You can unsubscribe at any time if you know you will not be available to volunteer for some time, and come back here to re-subscribe if you wish to volunteer again.
