Gaurab Banerjee first started swing dancing in 2019 while he was a student and quickly fell in love with the playfulness of Lindy Hop. At Stanford, he led Swingtime where he fell in love with choreographing and performing and he led many of the social dance organizations. He loves teaching specifically for the moment when the lightbulb turns on in a student’s head and seeing those in his class improve and enjoy dancing even more. Gaurab enjoys leading and following and loves to dance Lindy, Blues, and Balboa.

Outside of Wednesday Night Hop, his day job is in AI research/engineering. He enjoys traveling, spontaneous adventures, and new experiences.
