Join Andreas Olsson for a new series of four solo Balboa classes on Zoom. We will contiune to work on a mix of basic vocabulary, footwork and slides, turns, aesthetics, musicality and rhythms. I will give you detailed breakdowns of footwork in pure Balboa and in Bal-swing, improvisational exercises, drills and short choreographed sequences for you to practice outside of class. Every zoom session also results in a practice video, which serves as a recap and as a suggestion on how to practice the theme of the week. The idea is to inspire you to develop vocabulary, musicality and your own aesthetics of your Balboa.

I will also give you personal feedback both during and in between classes (through short video submission).
The classes are suitable for solo dancers who are of intermediate level and up.

Each class is 1 hour and 15 min and they will happen every Sunday starting November 15th. I will give the same class twice, catering to different time zones. The zoom recording will be available for 7 days if you can’t take the class live or want to watch it again.
