Johnny Bones has a lot to say on sax, whether he’s channeling Sidney Bechet or Lester Young, getting funky doing the Honky Tonk, or laying down soulful riffs that would impress Sam Cooke. He’s joined by pianist and quarantine buddy Neil Fontano, whose fancy fingerwork combines classical style poise with the romp and rhythms that conjure Fats Waller and Count Basie!
