Our next band night will be on September 1st with Le Jazz Hot. This great band is becoming a regular attraction at WNH, and I'm sure that they will impress us as always. These guys are AMAZING! Usually playing for other Django aficionados in concert theaters and jazz festivals, where not much dancing and much more listening is happening. As Wednesday Night Hop welcomes Le Jazz Hot once again to unite this "Hot Club" sound with a beautifully sprung hardwood floor, come dance the night away to these lovely tunes.

The Hot Club of San Francisco plays gypsy jazz music inspired by Django Reinhardt. They are dedicated to preserving and educating the masses about Django and his music. On their website, they say that "once you hear it, you can't forget it. It is sophisticated, yet it has a sentimental quality. It is delicate, but the rhythms are played at breakneck speed. It has a swinging, jazzy feel but many of the songs are waltzes."

September 1st also kicks off our new monthly class series. This month Gabe and Andrea will introduce more Charleston into your dancing. Not sure what class to take, click here.
